Here is a selection of 10 espresso machine models for household and office. All of the models shown here are suitable for the use of single espresso portions as well as for standard use. They all differ only slightly in capacity and heating ability and are all regular 220v appliances. They are available at specialized dealer outlets and department stores, with prices ranging from approx. CHF 200.- to just under CHF 600.-
The Aquaviva Quick model is available directly from Chicco d'Oro. This solid all-metal model is, as opposed to the others, equipped with a thermal block geyser (continuous water flow heater) instead of a boiler. This advantage means, the machine is less susceptible to lime build-up and consequently requires less servicing.
